MIGA/World Bank publishes "The Impact of Intel in Costa Rica - Nine Years after the decision to invest."
In October 2004 MIGA hired Armando E. Heilbron, founder of Infinitum, to follow up on this technological leader's project 8 years after its decision to invest and establish in Costa Rica.
His report was taken with interest by MIGA executives to the point of
making it the foundation to write the second case on Intel in
Costa Rica
and document the impacts on the country and its investment
promotion agency, CINDE. After some internal discussion and updating of
some figures to include the very important 2005 year for this
corporation in Costa Rica, MIGA published it on June 2006.
